Cleaning methods

1. Wipe with mild soapy water

Preparation: Prepare a bowl of warm water, add a few drops of mild detergent or hand sanitizer, stir well to form soapy water. Prepare another soft damp cloth or sponge.

Wiping and cleaning: Dip a damp cloth or sponge in soapy water and gently wipe the surface of alloy jewelry to remove dust, dirt, and grease. For gaps and areas that are difficult to clean, a soft bristled brush can be used to gently scrub them. After wiping, rinse the jewelry with clean water to ensure there is no soap residue.

2. Alcohol wiping

Material selection: Use medical grade alcohol with a purity of 75%, as well as clean and soft cotton or cotton balls.

Wiping steps: Pour alcohol onto a cotton cloth or ball to make it slightly moist, then gently wipe the surface of the alloy jewelry. Alcohol can effectively remove oil stains and stubborn stains, while also serving as a disinfectant. After wiping, let the jewelry air dry naturally. After the alcohol evaporates, the jewelry will become clean and tidy.

3. Toothpaste cleaning

Operation method: Squeeze a small amount of toothpaste onto a soft cloth or towel and gently wipe the alloy jewelry. The tiny particles in toothpaste can gently grind the surface of jewelry, removing stains and oxide layers. After wiping, rinse with clean water and then dry with a dry cloth.

Maintenance points

1. Wear precautions

Avoid chemical substances: alloy jewelry is vulnerable to chemical substances, such as perfume, cosmetics, hair gel, detergent, vinegar, bleach, etc. Before activities such as makeup, cleaning, swimming, etc. that may come into contact with these substances, jewelry should be removed first.

2. Scratch prevention: Alloy jewelry may have relatively low hardness and be easily scratched. When wearing, avoid contact with sharp and hard objects such as keys, knives, diamonds, etc., and do not mix them with other jewelry to avoid scratching each other.

Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and high temperatures: Prolonged exposure to sunlight or high temperatures may cause alloy jewelry to fade, deform, or be damaged. Therefore, it is best to remove jewelry when engaging in outdoor activities for a long time or in high-temperature environments.

Storage method

Dry storage: Alloy jewelry should be stored in a dry environment, as humid air may cause rusting or oxidation of the alloy. You can put some desiccants, such as silicone granules, in the jewelry box to help absorb moisture.

Separate storage: To prevent scratches and collisions between jewelry, alloy jewelry should be placed separately in a jewelry box or sealed bag. If there are multiple alloy jewelry pieces, it is best to separate them with a soft cloth or tissue.
